CamPulse EF filter elements are used in self-cleaning air filter systems based on single-stage, high-efficiency static filter systems. The product is also used as a pre-filter stage for second-stage static filtration, type E10. The cleaning system provides continuous operation and stable pressure, even in extremely dusty environments.
Each set consists of one cylindrical element and one conical element. Rigid expanded metal inner and outer liners support the dimple-pleated media pack and prevent the element from collapsing when there is an extremely high drop in pressure.
The filter media is water-repellent and available in three different grades: standard cellulose, blended Polytech and the ultra-high efficiency Polytech HE media.
Applications for the CamPulse EF include air intakes for gas turbines, compressors and large engines.
The product is generally designed for desert and arctic environments.
